Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Last Updated: October 1, 2026

This Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy explains how Empresahaus (“EH,” “Empresahaus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Lincoln Barretta Consulting LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or interact with our websites, applications, membership platform, communications, and other online services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.

This Policy describes how EH uses cookies and other Tracking Technologies and the choices that may be available to you through your browser, device, or under applicable privacy law.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other device when you visit a website.

Cookies can help websites:

  • Recognize your browser or device;
  • Remember your preferences;
  • Maintain login sessions;
  • Keep accounts secure;
  • Understand how visitors use a website;
  • Measure website performance;
  • Improve functionality;
  • Personalize content;
  • Measure the effectiveness of communications or advertising; and
  • Deliver or measure advertising where permitted. Cookies may be placed directly by EH or by third parties whose technologies are incorporated into our Services.

2. What Are Tracking Technologies?

In addition to traditional browser cookies, EH may use or permit other technologies that collect or store information about your device or your interactions with the Services.

These technologies may include:

  • Pixels;
  • Web beacons;
  • Tracking tags;
  • Software development kits (“SDKs”);
  • Local storage;
  • Browser storage;
  • Device identifiers;
  • Mobile advertising identifiers;
  • Embedded scripts;
  • APIs;
  • Log files;
  • Analytics tools;
  • Session and interaction analytics;
  • Conversion tracking technologies;
  • Attribution technologies;
  • Email tracking technologies; and
  • Similar technologies developed in the future. For purposes of this Policy, we refer to cookies and these similar technologies collectively as “Tracking Technologies.”

3. Information Tracking Technologies May Collect

Depending on the technology being used and your interaction with the Services, Tracking Technologies may collect information such as:

  • IP address;
  • Browser type;
  • Browser version;
  • Device type;
  • Operating system;
  • Device identifiers;
  • General or approximate location derived from your IP address;
  • Language preferences;
  • Referring and exit pages;
  • Pages or screens viewed;
  • Links, buttons, or features used;
  • Dates and times of visits;
  • Time spent on particular pages;
  • Navigation paths;
  • Login and authentication information;
  • Session identifiers;
  • Website performance information;
  • Error information;
  • Search activity within the Services;
  • Interaction with forms;
  • Whether a communication was opened or interacted with;
  • Advertising or campaign attribution information; and
  • Other information about how you interact with our Services. Where this information identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual or household, we treat it as personal information where required by applicable law.

4. Types of Tracking Technologies We May Use

A. Strictly Necessary Technologies These technologies are necessary for the Services to operate properly.

They may be used to:

  • Authenticate users;
  • Maintain login sessions;
  • Protect accounts;
  • Detect suspicious activity;
  • Prevent fraud or abuse;
  • Maintain network and website security;
  • Remember privacy preferences;
  • Process transactions;
  • Provide requested functionality; and
  • Maintain the technical operation of the Services. Because these technologies may be necessary to provide the Services or perform actions you request, blocking them through your browser or device may cause parts of the Services to stop functioning properly. B. Functional Technologies Functional technologies allow the Services to remember choices you make and provide enhanced functionality. For example, they may remember:
  • Language preferences;
  • Display preferences;
  • Account settings;
  • Previously selected options;
  • Interface preferences; or
  • Other personalization settings. Disabling these technologies may reduce the functionality or personalization of certain parts of the Services. C. Analytics and Performance Technologies We may use analytics and performance technologies to understand how people interact with EH. These technologies may help us understand:
  • How many people visit the Services;
  • Which pages or features are most frequently used;
  • How users navigate through the Services;
  • How long users spend on particular pages;
  • Whether technical errors occur;
  • How users arrive at the Services;
  • Whether new features are being used;
  • How effectively the Services perform; and
  • How we can improve the EH experience. We may use third-party analytics providers to perform some of these functions. The use of certain analytics and performance technologies may be subject to consent, notice, or other privacy requirements under applicable law. D. Advertising and Targeted Advertising Technologies EH may use advertising technologies to promote our Services, measure advertising effectiveness, understand campaign performance, or deliver advertising that may be more relevant to particular audiences. Depending on our advertising activities, these technologies may allow EH or third-party advertising platforms to understand whether a person:
  • Viewed an advertisement;
  • Clicked an advertisement;
  • Visited EH after seeing an advertisement;
  • Created an account or completed another action;
  • Interacted with particular pages or content; or
  • Engaged with EH across different websites, applications, or devices. Some uses of these technologies may constitute targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, sharing, or a sale of personal information under certain privacy laws, even when money is not exchanged. Where applicable law gives you rights concerning these activities, information about those rights and how to exercise them is provided in our Privacy Policy. The use of certain advertising technologies may be subject to consent, notice, opt-out, or other privacy requirements under applicable law.

5. Session Replay and Interaction Analytics

EH may use technologies that help us understand how visitors interact with the Services, such as movement through pages, clicks, scrolling, navigation behavior, technical errors, or other interaction patterns.

Depending on the technology used, this may include session replay or similar interaction analytics.

These tools are intended to help us:

  • Diagnose technical problems;
  • Improve usability;
  • Understand navigation patterns;
  • Identify confusing interfaces;
  • Improve features and workflows; and
  • Improve the overall user experience. When we use these technologies, we will configure and use them in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and our contractual obligations with applicable service providers. EH does not intend to use session replay technologies to collect passwords or other information that should reasonably remain confidential. EH configures session replay technologies, when used, to exclude or mask passwords and other information that should reasonably remain confidential, where supported by the applicable technology.

6. Email Tracking Technologies

Emails sent by EH may contain technologies that allow us to determine whether an email was delivered, opened, or interacted with.

For example, we may collect information regarding:

  • Email delivery;
  • Email opens;
  • Link clicks;
  • Device or browser information;
  • Approximate time of interaction; and
  • Engagement with particular communications. We may use this information to:
  • Operate our communications;
  • Determine whether communications are useful;
  • Improve future communications;
  • Troubleshoot delivery problems;
  • Measure campaigns; and
  • Understand engagement with EH. You may unsubscribe from applicable marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link provided in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not necessarily prevent us from sending transactional, administrative, security, account-related, or other non-marketing communications.

7. First-Party and Third-Party Technologies

First-Party Technologies First-party Tracking Technologies are placed or controlled directly by EH or on our behalf and are generally used to operate, secure, analyze, or improve our Services.

Third-Party Technologies Some technologies may be provided or controlled by third parties.

These may include providers of:

  • Website hosting;
  • Authentication;
  • Analytics;
  • Customer relationship management;
  • Communications;
  • Payment processing;
  • Security;
  • Advertising;
  • Conversion measurement;
  • Customer support;
  • Cloud infrastructure;
  • Member-management technology;
  • Video or media hosting; and
  • Other services used to operate EH. Third parties may process information collected through their technologies according to their agreements with EH and, in some circumstances, according to their own privacy policies. Your interaction with a third-party service may therefore be subject to that third party's terms and privacy practices in addition to EH's policies. Technology Categories and Current Use EH uses third-party technologies based on the functions and services needed to operate, secure, analyze, support, and improve the Services. The specific providers and technologies used by EH may change over time as the Services evolve. Not every category or type of technology described in this Policy is necessarily used at all times. EH may review the material Tracking Technologies used through the Services, including advertising pixels, analytics technologies, session-replay or interaction-analytics technologies, and other non-essential Tracking Technologies. Where applicable law requires additional information about a particular Tracking Technology, provider, purpose, duration, or privacy choice, EH will make that information available through this Policy or another applicable privacy notice or interface.

8. Cookie Duration

Tracking Technologies may be either session-based or persistent.

Session Technologies Session technologies generally remain active only while your browser or application session is open and are deleted or expire after the session ends.

Persistent Technologies Persistent technologies may remain on your device after you close your browser and may continue until:

  • Their designated expiration date;
  • They are replaced;
  • You delete them;
  • They are otherwise removed; or
  • Their operation is otherwise limited through available browser, device, or privacy controls. The duration of a particular cookie or Tracking Technology depends on its purpose, provider, configuration, and applicable legal requirements.

9. Managing Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Most web browsers and devices provide settings that allow you to manage cookies and similar technologies.

Depending on your browser or device, you may be able to:

  • View or delete stored cookies;
  • Block some or all cookies;
  • Block third-party cookies;
  • Receive notifications when cookies are placed;
  • Restrict particular websites from storing information; or
  • Adjust certain advertising or privacy settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect portions of the Services, including account authentication, security, saved preferences, and other functionality. Because browser and device controls vary, please refer to your browser or device settings for information about the controls available to you.

10. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

EH may use analytics, advertising, conversion-measurement, or similar technologies in connection with the Services.

Certain privacy laws may define some disclosures of personal information to advertising or technology providers as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged.

Depending on EH's practices, your location, and applicable law, you may have rights concerning these activities.

Information about applicable privacy rights and how to exercise them is provided in our Privacy Policy.

11. Do Not Track

Some web browsers provide a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting that communicates a user's preference regarding online tracking.

There is currently no single universally adopted standard governing how websites must respond to traditional DNT signals. Accordingly, the Services do not currently respond to traditional DNT signals except where otherwise required by applicable law.

12. Universal Opt-Out Preference Signals

Certain privacy laws may allow consumers to communicate a request to opt out of the sale of personal information or the use of personal information for targeted advertising through a recognized universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).

Where Empresahaus is required by applicable law to recognize such a signal, we will process the signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device from which the signal is received, as required by applicable law.

Universal opt-out preference signals are different from traditional “Do Not Track” signals described above. Additional information about applicable privacy rights is available in our Privacy Policy.

13. Mobile Devices and Advertising Identifiers

If EH provides mobile applications or integrates with mobile services, certain devices may provide advertising identifiers or privacy settings that allow users to control tracking.

Depending on your operating system, you may be able to:

  • Reset advertising identifiers;
  • Restrict advertising personalization;
  • Limit application tracking;
  • Control application permissions; or
  • Restrict access to certain device information. Your mobile device or operating system provider controls these settings.

14. Authentication and Account Security

EH may use cookies and similar technologies to recognize authenticated users and protect member accounts.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Keep you logged in;
  • Verify sessions;
  • Detect unusual login attempts;
  • Prevent unauthorized access;
  • Detect automated abuse;
  • Protect the EH community; and
  • Maintain the integrity and security of our Services. Because these technologies may be necessary to provide the membership platform securely, blocking them may prevent you from accessing your account or certain portions of EH.

15. Payment-Related Technologies

If you purchase an EH membership, subscription, product, or service, payment processing may be performed by third-party payment providers.

Those providers may use cookies or related technologies for:

  • Processing payments;
  • Authenticating transactions;
  • Preventing fraud;
  • Maintaining security;
  • Remembering payment preferences; or
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations. Payment providers may collect information directly from you under their own privacy policies and terms. EH's access to complete payment-card information may be limited depending on the payment provider being used.

16. Embedded Content and Third-Party Features

The Services may include embedded content or integrations supplied by third parties, such as:

  • Videos;
  • Maps;
  • Calendars;
  • Scheduling tools;
  • Social media features;
  • File-hosting services;
  • Communication tools;
  • Payment tools; or
  • Other interactive services. When you interact with embedded third-party content, the third party may place or access its own Tracking Technologies. EH does not control every technology operated independently by third parties. We encourage you to review the applicable third party's privacy and cookie practices.

17. Social Media Technologies

EH may maintain pages, profiles, advertisements, or integrations on social media platforms.

If you interact with EH through a social media service, the applicable platform may collect information about your activity according to its own privacy practices.

Where EH places social-media advertising or measurement technology on our Services, those technologies may be subject to the advertising and privacy provisions described in this Policy and our Privacy Policy.

18. Information Collected Through Advertising

Campaigns When EH conducts digital advertising campaigns, advertising providers may supply us with aggregated, pseudonymous, or identifiable information regarding campaign performance.

This information may include:

  • Advertisement impressions;
  • Advertisement clicks;
  • Website visits;
  • Conversions;
  • Registration events;
  • Device information;
  • Campaign identifiers;
  • Audience information; and
  • Attribution information. We may use this information to evaluate and improve our advertising and understand how people discover EH.

19. Data Combination

Where permitted by law, information collected through Tracking Technologies may be combined with other information we maintain about you.

For example, if you are logged into your EH account, certain website activity may be associated with your account where reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide requested functionality;
  • Secure your account;
  • Remember preferences;
  • Provide support;
  • Analyze use of the Services;
  • Improve the Services; or
  • Carry out other purposes described in our Privacy Policy. We will not use Tracking Technologies for materially different purposes in a manner inconsistent with applicable privacy law.

20. Data Retention

We retain information collected through Tracking Technologies for periods that are reasonably necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected, including:

  • Providing the Services;
  • Maintaining security;
  • Conducting analytics;
  • Fulfilling contractual obligations;
  • Maintaining business records;
  • Resolving disputes;
  • Enforcing agreements;
  • Detecting fraud or abuse; and
  • Complying with applicable law. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the technology involved, the provider being used, our configuration of the service, and legal requirements. Information may also be retained in aggregated or de-identified form where permitted by law.

21. Children and Minors

EH's Services are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

EH does not intend to knowingly use Tracking Technologies to collect personal information from children for targeted advertising or other purposes inconsistent with applicable law.

If we learn that information has been collected from a child in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, we may take appropriate steps to delete, restrict, or otherwise address that information.

Additional information regarding age eligibility appears in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

22. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside and the laws applicable to EH's processing of your information, you may have rights regarding personal information collected through Tracking Technologies.

These rights may include the ability to:

  • Request access to personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Request deletion;
  • Obtain certain information in portable form;
  • Obtain information regarding certain third-party disclosures;
  • Withdraw consent where applicable;
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information where applicable;
  • Opt out of the sharing of personal information where applicable;
  • Opt out of targeted advertising where applicable;
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable;
  • Appeal certain privacy-rights decisions where applicable; and
  • Exercise other rights established by applicable law. Please review the Privacy Policy for additional information regarding privacy rights and how to submit a request.

23. Security

EH uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information collected through the Services.

However, no online service, electronic transmission, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own devices, browsers, passwords, and account credentials.

24. Changes to Our Tracking Technologies

The technologies used by EH may change over time as our Services evolve.

We may:

  • Add new service providers;
  • Replace existing providers;
  • Introduce new features;
  • Change analytics technologies;
  • Modify advertising practices;
  • Update security tools; or
  • Change how particular technologies are configured. Where required by applicable law, we may update our notices, provide additional privacy choices, or obtain consent before using information for materially different purposes.

25. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy periodically to reflect:

  • Changes to our Services;
  • Changes to our technology;
  • Changes to our business practices;
  • New legal requirements;
  • Regulatory guidance;
  • Security considerations; or
  • Other operational developments. When we update this Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Policy. If an update materially changes how we use Tracking Technologies or personal information, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of the Services after an updated Policy becomes effective is subject to the updated Policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice, consent, or other action.

26. Relationship to the Privacy Policy

This Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy supplements the EH Privacy Policy.

If information collected through a Tracking Technology constitutes personal information under applicable law, that information is also subject to the Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict between this Policy and the Privacy Policy concerning the broader processing of personal information, the Privacy Policy will govern unless applicable law requires otherwise.

27. How to Exercise Privacy Choices

You may manage certain cookies and Tracking Technologies through the settings provided by your browser or device.

Additional rights regarding your personal information may be available to you under applicable privacy laws.

Information regarding those rights and how to submit a privacy request is provided in our Privacy Policy.
